The Journal of Negro Education
The Journal of Negro Education is an academic journal that is published four times a year by Howard University. It was founded in 1932 by Charles Henry Thompson, who led the journal as editor-in-chief for over 30 years. The journal focuses on recognizing and addressing the educational challenges faced by Black individuals in the United States and beyond. It aims to offer a platform for discussion, analysis, and solutions, while also sharing important statistics and research on a national scale. Since 2008, Ivory A. Toldson has been the editor-in-chief.
