As a mom of four who highly values creating memories as a family I’m sharing my tips to maintain structure while traveling with kids. Taking our children on adventures and having the opportunity to share new experiences together as a family is something we value highly as parents. Each year on each of my children’s birthdays my husband and I write them a letter to reflect back on the year behind as well as share photos from those favorite moments and memories. My darling daughter Britt, Twelve! You are entering your last year of childhood. Of all my kids you are the one who is the most sentimental regarding milestones and I know the specialness of this year isn’t lost on you.

I love writing these yearly letters for each of my children on their birthdays and look forward to the day when I bind them all into a book for them when they turn 18! It will be a special milestone birthday present that I hope they will enjoy reading and looking back on all of our memories together over the years.
