The Lo-Down is a community-focused website dedicated to the Lower East Side. It is proud to be a part of the Local Independent Online Publishers Association (LION). Additionally, The Lo-Down is one of six pilot sites collaborating with the Local News Lab, an initiative aimed at promoting sustainable journalism, supported by the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation.
