The Multimedia Group

The Multimedia Group is Ghana's largest independent media, commercial, and entertainment enterprise. Established in 1995 by Ghanaian entrepreneur Mr. Kwasi Twum, this company has evolved from a small team of 12 to a workforce of around 600, operating 6 radio brands, 3 online platforms, and Ghana’s first free multi-channel television service in two decades. The Multimedia Group has played a pivotal role in boosting the advertising, creative arts, and entertainment sectors, especially within the gospel music scene in Ghana. The launch of Multi TV in 2009 brought television access to even the most remote villages, offering multi-channel television and radio services to areas that previously lacked media coverage. Multi TV has also enabled the distribution of local Ghanaian TV channels across Africa via satellite and into parts of Europe through the ABN channel. We take pride in our independence at The Multimedia Group, having established ourselves as a strong voice advocating for truth and accountability. MGL runs some of the most popular indigenous online platforms in Ghana, including MyJoyOnline.com, AdomOnline.com, and MultiTVWorld.com. Our newest venture, Multi TV, is Africa's largest free-to-air television network. In addition to our radio, television, and online services, MGL hosts the biggest events and promotions in Ghana, organizing special gatherings that attract over 250,000 participants each year.
