The Pacer

The Pacer is the student newspaper for the University of Tennessee at Martin and has been in existence since 1928. The Office of Student Publications at UT Martin releases The Pacer every Tuesday morning during the semester, except for holidays and exam weeks. As of 2006, the newspaper's circulation is 3,000 copies. Over the years, it has also gone by the names The Checkerboard and The Volette.
