A guitar prodigy from a young age, Derringer was heavily influenced by early rock ‘n’ roll and blues music.

The music icon has been diagnosed with the brain disorder Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus, or NPH. The condition has been exacerbated by Billy’s recent concert performances, leading to problems with his hearing, vision, and balance. Doctors have advised him to refrain from performing live while he undergoes physical therapy to aid in his recovery.
