The Skanner, also known as The Skanner News, is an African-American publication that serves the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. Its main office is located in Portland, Oregon, and it also has a branch in Seattle, Washington. Since 2014, The Skanner has been available in three different formats: a daily website at theskanner.com, a weekly printed edition, and an online version that replicates the printed newspaper.
