Thornton Heath Chronicle

Established in October 2016, The Thornton Heath Chronicle focuses on delivering news and updates about the Thornton Heath area. The newspaper is operated by a dedicated group of volunteers who are passionate about fostering community journalism. Most of the content is created by locals, sharing stories and insights about their community. All funds generated from advertisements or sponsorships are reinvested into producing the newspaper. The publication is named after an earlier newspaper from before World War II, about which little is known. Just like in the past, the Chronicle emphasizes that without communication within our community, we can miss out on valuable experiences. In today's world, with the rise of social media, the Chronicle team believes it is crucial to maintain not only a digital presence but also a print version of the newspaper.
