This is WWE SmackDown featuring John Cena and Cody Rhodes, plus two Money in the Bank qualifiers. The Money in the Bank PLE is just eight days away on June 7th, so the build for that will continue. From the Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville, Tennessee, this is SmackDown for episode #1345. Follow me on Twitter/X @johnreport. Let’s get to it. A video aired recapping Saturday Night’s Main Event featuring John Cena beating R-Truth.

By TJR Staff • Published 30th May 2025 Steve Maclin defended his TNA International Championship against Matt Cardona on Impact, and we heard from the new TNA World Champion, Trick Williams. This past Sunday at NXT Battleground, Joe Hendry lost the TNA World Championship to a (WWE) NXT wrestler in Trick Williams. There have been plenty of opinions on this title change over the past week, some positive and some negative, but it does have people talking. Is this a good thing for TNA?

This week’s AEW Dynamite featured a Toni Storm-Mercedes Mone discussion in the ring, Jon Moxley in tag team action, Adam Cole against Kyle Fletcher, and more. It’s the Dynamite follow up to the outstanding Double or Nothing PPV from Sunday night. I thought “Hangman” Adam Page and Will Ospreay had a match of the year contender in the main event, while Anarchy in the Arena was amazing, too. Excellent show overall.

This week’s WWE NXT featured Stephanie Vaquer facing Jacy Jayne, Ricky Saints in action against Ethan Page, Trick Williams as TNA World Champion, and more. This episode followed NXT Battleground from Sunday night in Tampa. It was a pretty good show, but not at the level of Stand & Deliver, which is the best NXT PLE this year. They are at the WWE Performance Centre in Orlando for this week’s show. Follow me on Twitter @johnreport, and check out my NXT TV review archive.

It’s AEW Double or Nothing featuring “Hangman” Adam Page against Will Ospreay, Anarchy in the Arena, and more. AEW Double or Nothing is the third AEW PPV of the year and this is the seventh Double or Nothing in company history. I am watching this on Monday and Tuesday because I did the WWE NXT Battleground review live on Sunday night. I did it that way because AEW PPVs are very long and I wanted to go to sleep early.
