Perrysburg spreads lifesaving devices throughout the cityThe city of Perrysburg is enhancing public safety by installing Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) at key locations, including parks and municipal buildings, in response to Ohio’s House Bill 47. The law mandates AED placement in public schools, chartered nonpublic schools and municipal sports/recreation areas. AEDs are accompanied by Stop the Bleed kits and clear signage is provided to guide usage.

Toledo Area Kids Invited to Audition for Toledo Opera Production

Boys and girls ages 9-14 years old with unchanged voices are invited to audition to sing in the children’s chorus of “Carmen” with Toledo Opera. The commitment is August-October. Auditions will be held on Saturday, May 17 from 10am on Sunday, May 18 from 3-6pm at the Toledo Opera Offices, 425 Jefferson Ave., Suite 601. “Carmen” by Georges Bizet will be performed on October 10 and 12 at the Valentine Theatre.
