TransLash
We are creators of narratives and champions of culture, dedicated to fostering experiences that uplift trans stories, histories, healing, and, above all, the rights of trans individuals. TransLash Media is a nonprofit and digital community comprised of conversation initiators, filmmakers, artists, tech innovators, activists, and supporters who are passionate about advocating for trans, non-binary, intersex, and two-spirit people by sharing vital trans narratives that can save lives. We ensure these stories are told authentically, free from censorship and exclusion by mainstream media. Despite facing significant challenges and violence, trans individuals are continually evolving and embracing their identities. Since our inception in 2018, TransLash Media has collaborated with organizations like WNYC, Samsung, Futuro Media, the National Education Association, Transgender Law Center, The New York Women’s Foundation, Pride Live, and others to highlight stories of creativity, bravery, resilience, and strength within the trans community.
