Hailing from Christchurch, New Zealand, I grew up with a passion for horses, even though I never had one of my own. Instead, I immersed myself in books about them. After completing school and university, I earned an honours degree in English Literature. Initially hesitant about becoming a teacher, I eventually embraced the role while also pursuing my love for travel. I spent several years in the English countryside surrounded by horses, balancing teaching and adventures, all while raising a family. Upon returning to New Zealand, I continued to teach, travel, and write about my experiences. I've received awards for my work, which, while not always financially rewarding, has enriched my life immensely. I'm always eager for new experiences and opportunities!
