TV5, previously recognized as ABC 5, is a prominent commercial television network in the Philippines, headquartered in Mandaluyong City. It is owned by TV5 Network Inc., which is entirely controlled by MediaQuest Holdings, Inc., a subsidiary of the Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company's trust fund, led by the influential businessman Manuel V. Pangilinan. The network is named after its main station in Metro Manila, DWET-TV, which broadcasts on VHF Channel 5. TV5 operates 7 additional owned-and-operated stations and collaborates with 19 affiliated stations across the country. Its programming is also available internationally via the Kapatid TV5 channel.
