TVBS

TVBS Media Inc. (Chinese: 聯利媒體股份有限公司) is a Taiwanese commercial television broadcasting company that was previously known as Liann Yee Production Co., Ltd. (Chinese: 聯意製作股份有限公司). The company started as a partnership between Hong Kong's TVB and Taiwan's Era Group, but in 2005, TVB acquired Era's shares. Eventually, TVB sold its entire stake to various Taiwanese firms. As of 2019, TVBS runs four domestic channels and one international channel. These include TVBS, the main channel; TVBS News, a 24-hour news service; TVBS Entertainment, featuring variety shows and dramas; TVBS E! (previously TVB8), an alternative channel on the CHT MOD IPTV platform; and TVBS Asia, which is accessible outside of Taiwan.
