    Gender-based violence (GBV) remains one of the most widespread human rights violations in the world, including in Ukraine. The Russian full-scale invasion in February 2022 has significantly increased the risk of women and girls being exposed to GBV in its various forms. The economic instability, displacement, deterioration of the security situation and the impact on mental health have all contributed to the increased risk of intimate partner violence, conflict-related sexual violence, sexual exploitation and abuse, trafficking, and harassment.
