United States Department of Veterans Affairs
The United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is a key department within the federal government that works at the Cabinet level. Its main responsibility is to offer lifelong healthcare services to qualified military veterans through a network of 170 VA medical centers and outpatient clinics across the nation. In addition to healthcare, the VA also offers a range of non-healthcare benefits, such as disability compensation, vocational training, education support, home loans, and life insurance. Furthermore, the VA provides burial and memorial services for eligible veterans and their families at 135 national cemeteries.
