University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign

The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, often referred to as U of I, Illinois, or UIUC, is a public research university located in the twin cities of Champaign and Urbana, Illinois. Established in 1867, it serves as the main university in the University of Illinois system. With more than 56,000 students pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees, it ranks among the largest public universities in the United States by enrollment.
