Jeff Woods of Construction and Roofing (JWCR), established in 1997, officially held a ribbon cutting for its new location this week. The company has moved into a new building at 123 Interchange Drive in Crossville. JWCR specializes in roof replacements and repairs, custom decking, exterior screening solutions and new builds. Food trucks and vendors were on-site. “Thank you to everyone who came out today! We had a great time,” according to JWCR.

Cookeville Regional Medical Center (CRMC) is “setting a new standard in robotic surgery” after its introduction of the according to a release by the hospital Tennessee Robotic Institute. CRMC has been at the forefront of robotic-assisted procedures for more than a decade, according to the release. In the first decade of the robotics program, CRMC performed 2,750 robotic procedures.

Highland Rim Academy recently celebrated its newly renovated campus and relocation with a ribbon cutting in Cookeville. The Cookeville–Putnam County Chamber of Commerce was on hand for the event. “Yesterday, we celebrated the grand opening of Highland Rim Academy’s newly renovated campus,” said the Chamber in a Statement. HRA, a K-12 classical Christian school, recently relocated to a newly renovated, two-story building at 1000 England Drive.
