Utah Public Radio
Utah Public Radio, operated by Utah State University, provides a continuous stream of news, information, public affairs, and cultural content round the clock. Based in Logan, it reaches audiences throughout Utah and Southern Idaho through a network comprising six full-power HD stations and 30 translators. This network covers more than half of Utah's population. The station began its journey in 1953 as KVSC, known as the Voice of the State College. In 1961, it rebranded to KUSU-FM to align with the university's name change from Utah State Agricultural College to Utah State University. It holds the distinction of being Utah's oldest non-commercial educational radio service. Utah Public Radio is affiliated with National Public Radio (NPR) and is also a member of Public Radio International (PRI) and American Public Media (APM).

It’s time again for us to compile another UPR community booklist. So we want to know what you’re reading. What’s on your nightstand or device right now? Is there a book that has had a big impact on you? Which books are you looking forward to reading? Perhaps you’d like to tell us a personal story connected to a favorite book. We’d love to hear about fiction, nonfiction, young adult & children’s books, anything you’re reading. One suggestion or many are welcome.

U.S. Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum has ordered a halt to an offshore wind project near the coast of Long Island. Today, Equinor, the Norwegian energy company that owns and operates the project, announced it is complying with the order and suspending all construction. President Trump, a longtime critic of wind energy, issued a moratorium on new development of offshore wind projects, one of his first executive orders upon returning to the White House.
