Večer

Večer, which translates to "Evening" in English, is a daily newspaper based in Maribor, Slovenia. It was first launched on May 9, 1945, originally as a publication celebrating the liberation of Maribor, named Maribor svoboden (Maribor Free). The newspaper began regular circulation on May 25, 1945, under the title Vestnik. It wasn't until 1949 that it transitioned to a daily format, and in 1952, it adopted its current name, Večer.
