Vedomosti
Vedomosti (Russian: Ведомости, pronounced [ˈvʲedəməsʲtʲɪ], meaning "The Record") is a business daily published in Russian and based in Moscow. Initially, it was a collaboration between Dow Jones, the Financial Times, and the publishers of The Moscow Times. In 2015, both the Financial Times and the Wall Street Journal divested their shares due to new Russian media regulations that limit foreign ownership in Russian media companies to no more than 20%. Around the same time, Sanoma also exited its investment in the newspaper. Currently, Vedomosti is owned by Demyan Kudryavtsev, who is also the owner of The Moscow Times and was formerly the CEO of Kommersant.
