I’m willing to bet that no matter how much time you spend using slides and videos and multimedia displays, you could never get your students to understand. Hours spent lecturing would be wasted. Students cannot listen to an explanation, walk out the door, and put the theory into practice. There are simply things that cannot be learned through words.
