WCCW-AM (Traverse City, MI)

WCCW is part of a radio duo located in Traverse City, Michigan. It is owned by the Midwestern Broadcasting group, which still includes family members of its founding partners from the early 1940s, namely the Biedermans, Kikers, and McClays. In 1996, Midwestern expanded by acquiring WCCW AM/FM, which had been a local competitor for many years. WCCW-FM is a popular FM station with high ratings, whereas the AM station is among the lowest-rated in the Arbitron surveys for the region.
