Sophia 39283Sophia is a sweet dog in search of some active adults to spend all her time with. When she first meets people, she can get nervous – it will take her a day or so to get used to you but then it’s smooth sailing. She is friendly with people and fairly low-key. She is pretty content to do her own thing most of the time and just seek out your attention when she feels the need. She’s never had much use for barking so she simply doesn’t do it.

1/- A parade for the N.I.T. Champions, the Chattanooga Mocs Men’s basketball team, is scheduled for this Thursday April 17th. The parade will start at 6pm and will end in Miller Park, for a community Pep Rally. The team and the coach will be there, as well as the UTC Band and Spirit Squad, and community leaders. You can park for free behind the Bessie Smith Cultural Center. The parade will go from Mabel Street to East MLK, to Georgia Avenue, to Miller Park. Thursday night at 6.

After some adjusting to his new situation, Papaw Sage has shown us how sweet and silly he can be. Fill up in the morning, or at night. He says gas expands when it’s warm, so you get a little more for your money when it’s cold out. You won’t save enough to retire on, but it won’t hurt. In theory, yes, but don’t worry about it. “Consumer Reports” tested it out, and it only saves you a few cents at best.
