We All Want Someone To Shout For
We All Want Someone To Shout For is a music blog based in New York, created by Will Oliver in the summer of 2008. What began as a way to share music with friends has evolved into a comprehensive platform. In addition to helping readers discover new music, we provide exclusive interviews and the latest news. Our coverage includes highlights of both major and local shows happening in New York City. In January 2020, we joined forces with Monday Morning Matinee, expanding our content to include movie reviews and film news, further enriching our offerings.

Los Angeles’ The Martyr are a band that takes inspiration from industrial rock, gothic rock, post-punk, and new wave and have won our attention with their single “Idiot.”The track is a lively blend of post punk and dark wave that has a driving anthemic heft and pace that hits all the right notes.

Taxidermy is a Copenhagen-based experimental noise rock/post-punk band that recently shared its new single “Impending”, taken from their upcoming EP, Let Go.The track is a moody and artful blend of art rock with a broody sense of post-punk atmosphere that reminds of the work of both Iceage and Black Country New Road. The band wonderfully teeter between moments of restrained beauty, and raw hard hitting punk that hits you straight in the jaw, right back to the early 90s.
