WFDU-FM (Teaneck, NJ)
WFDU (89.1 MHz) is a non-profit college radio station operated by Fairleigh Dickinson University, located in Teaneck, New Jersey. Established in 1971, WFDU's studios are situated on the university campus, while its transmitter is placed at the Armstrong Tower in Alpine, New Jersey. After discussions with New York University and the Federal Communications Commission, a deal was made that allows both universities to utilize the 89.1 FM frequency. Although WFDU and WNYU-FM share this frequency, they each have their own transmitters, studio facilities, programming, and staff.
