WFXC-FM (Raleigh, NC)
WFXC (107.1 FM) and WFXK (104.3 FM) are two urban adult contemporary radio stations that operate together in the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina. WFXC, based in Durham, serves as the primary station, while WFXK, located in Bunn, functions as a full-power satellite station. These stations are owned by Radio One, which also owns K97.5 and The Light 103.9. Known as "Foxy 107/104," they feature a mix of "Today's R&B and Classic Soul," along with popular shows such as the Rickey Smiley morning show and the D.L. Hughley afternoon show. The stations achieved notable success, ranking first in the Roanoke Rapids market during the Fall of 2006, Spring 2007, and Fall of 2007. Their studios are situated in Raleigh, with the WFXC transmitter tower located in Oak Grove, just east of Durham, and the WFXK transmitter near Castalia, west of Rocky Mount. Both WFXC and WFXK also broadcast using HD radio technology.

The N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles Saturday walk-in service hours return this weekend. This year, the division is expanding from 16 to 20 offices offering services from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. on 11 Saturdays from May 31-Aug. 23 (offices will be closed on June 28 and July 5).
