The station's recent team included Silliman, who served as both the midday host and the general manager, alongside Jimmy Howes, who was the program director and also held the roles of chief engineer and operations manager. The News Director was Mike Forte, an award-winning reporter and newscaster. WGHT developed a loyal listener base and boasted a talented professional team, earning numerous accolades for its programming. The station received a pre-sunrise authorization from the FCC to begin broadcasting at 6:00 a.m., even during times when the sun rose later, and a post-sunset authorization for 6:00 p.m. during the shorter daylight months. Interestingly, in its last year, WGHT would still sign off at 6:00 p.m. during summer, even though it could have been on the air until as late as 8:30 p.m.
