    JUNEAU, Wis. - Former Waupun Correctional Institution Warden Randall Hepp will not have to spend any time behind bars for the death of inmates in that prison. Instead, Hepp is fined $500 in Dodge County Court on misdemeanor charges of violating state-county institution laws. Hepp was initially charged with felony misconduct in office following an investigation into the death of three inmates at WCI since a lockdown started in late 2023, but the charges were reduced as part of a plea deal.

    ASHWAUBENON, Wis. - A crash between a car and a motorcycle results in the death of the motorcycle driver. Police say an 18-year-old man from De Pere was driving the motorcycle southbound on Ashland Avenue around 11:25 p.m. Saturday when it struck a sedan turning west onto Mike McCarthy Way from northbound Ashland Avenue. The motorcycle driver was thrown from the motorcycle and was pronounced dead after arrival at a local hospital.

    TOWNSHIP OF HARRISON, Wis. - The Waupaca County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal UTV crash early Sunday morning. Deputies responded to a report of a UTV crashing in the north ditch on Mud Lake Road north of Nitke Road. Deputies found a male outside the UTV and performed life-saving measures. Collin Killoren was taken into custody Wednesday and booked on 10 counts of possession of child pornography. APD launched an investigation into Killoren after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. He taught Logic, Philosophy and Debate for grades 7-12 at St. Ignatius Catholic School.

    GREEN BAY, Wis. - Green Bay police are investigating a death. A passerby reported finding a woman's body in the East River near the 500 block of Eastman Avenue shortly after 4:45 p.m. Wednesday. The body was removed from the water about a half-hour later. While the cause of death is not yet known, police do not believe the public is in any danger.
