WIXO (105.7 FM), known as "105.7 The X," is a radio station located in Peoria, Illinois. This station is part of Cumulus Media, a company that owns multiple radio outlets in the area. Cumulus acquired WIXO along with its sister stations from Townsquare Media. Initially broadcasting on 99.9 MHz, WIXO transitioned to 105.7 MHz in 2006, which allows it to broadcast with greater power and cover a significant area of Central Illinois.
