The station is part of the Lockwood Broadcast Group and is affiliated with WBXX-TV, a CW station, making them sister stations. Both WKNX-TV and WBXX-TV operate from shared studios on Cogdill Road in the unincorporated region of Western Knox County. Additionally, WKNX-TV's signal is extended through two low-powered analog translators: WEZK-LP on channel 28 in Knoxville and WJZC-LP on channel 22 in Sevierville.
