WLAE-TV (Metairie, LA)

WLAE-TV is an independent educational television station that operates on virtual channel 32 and UHF digital channel 23 in New Orleans, Louisiana. The station is owned by the Educational Broadcasting Foundation, which is a collaboration between the Willwoods Community, a Catholic organization, and the Louisiana Educational Television Authority, the group that manages Louisiana Public Broadcasting and the PBS stations outside of New Orleans. WLAE's studios are based on North Causeway Boulevard in Metairie, while its transmitter is situated on Paris Road/Highway 47, northeast of Chalmette. If you're using cable, you can find the station on Cox Communications channel 14.
