WLS-FM (Chicago, IL)

WLS-FM (94.7 FM) is an adult contemporary radio station based in Chicago. Originally established by ABC, the station was sold to Citadel Broadcasting in 2007, along with other non-Radio Disney and ESPN Radio stations owned by Disney. In 2011, Cumulus Media acquired WLS-FM following its merger with Citadel. The station broadcasts its content from studios located on North State Street in the Chicago Loop, which it shares with WLS-TV, its former television partner. The transmitter antenna for WLS-FM is positioned atop the iconic Willis Tower. On June 26, 2008, the station officially reverted to the call sign WLS-FM.
