Florida Atlantic University has officially found their new Men’s Basketball head coach. John Jakus was announced as the program’s 10th head coach after Dusty May left to take the head coaching job at the University of Michigan. Jakus had spent the last 12 years of his coaching career as an assistant at Baylor and Gonzaga. He will take over a team that has gotten used to the national spotlight over the past couple of years and will hope to build on their past successes.

Dusty May, who has served as the head men’s basketball coach at Florida Atlantic University since the 2018-19 season, has been hired by the University of Michigan to fill its men’s basketball head-coaching vacancy.
