WNSR (560 AM) is a Class D radio station located in the Nashville area, broadcasting on the AM frequency of 560 kHz. The station is primarily owned by Randolph Victor Bell, with Ted Johnson, a former personality from WSM, serving as its general manager. WNSR features a blend of local and national sports broadcasts, including various sports talk shows. At one point, the station acted as the backup affiliate for the Nashville Predators NHL team, airing their games when the main affiliate, WGFX-FM, had prior commitments to Vanderbilt University sports. Additionally, WNSR has previously hosted games for the Nashville Sounds baseball team, Nashville Metros soccer, as well as Vanderbilt Commodores football and men's basketball events. Currently, it is the broadcasting home for Vanderbilt women's basketball and baseball games. The station is also part of the Atlanta Braves Radio Network, airing Major League Baseball games.
