Workday Magazine is dedicated to holding powerful entities accountable while highlighting the voices of everyday workers and the organizations that protect their rights. We focus on in-depth investigative journalism to reveal hidden stories and issues. Based in Minnesota, our coverage spans the greater Midwest and addresses global topics that impact workers, including climate change and U.S. militarism. As part of the Labor Education Service at the University of Minnesota, Workday Magazine aims to provide a platform for exploring the challenges workers face in their daily lives. We launched in the summer of 2000 with backing from Minnesota’s labor community and made history as the first online labor news outlet in the United States.
