WorldAtlas

WorldAtlas was established in 1994, during a time when the internet had only around 2,700 websites. It began as a project driven by cartographer John Moen and his wife, Chris Woolwine-Moen. Today, WorldAtlas stands as one of the leading resources for information on geography and a variety of other subjects such as sociology, demography, the environment, economics, politics, and travel. In 2019, it reached an impressive audience of over 165 million readers globally. We take pride in being a valuable resource for both teachers and students, as well as for anyone eager to learn more about the world around them.
