Natalia Markova def. Hunter The stipulation was that Markova would've never again been able to challenge Kenzie Paige for the NWA World Women's Championship had she lost here. I realized this was an intergender match, but I'm actually surprised it was as competitive as it was considering Hunter hasn't been positioned as any sort of a threat (I honestly don't recall him wrestling in the NWA prior to this). It was fine and Markova won as she should have.

Ethan Page def. NXT Heritage Cup Champion Lexis King, Wes Lee and Eddy Thorpe in an NXT North American Championship No. 1 Contender's Fatal 4-Way Match (Non-Title) All of these guys being heels and Ricky Saints being a babyface added some uncertainty to the outcome, but it was still pretty predictable that Page was winning considering the seeds were planted weeks ago. Nonetheless, this was a fun Fatal 4-Way filled with entertaining action.

World Heavyweight Champion Gunther Addressed Jey Uso This was a necessary promo from Gunther to follow up on what Jey said to him on last week's Raw. He showed a different side to himself now that Jey isn't afraid anymore and I thought he carried himself exceptionally well. He's actually stepped up his mic skills big time over the last year and I don't think that's been acknowledged enough. This was a strong segment to start the show. Bayley def.

FTR Explained Their Betrayal of Adam Copeland and Attempted to Attack Tony Schiavone I'm glad this is what kicked off the episode because FTR's betrayal of Copeland at Dynasty was one of the bigger (and better) things that happened at the event. FTR did an effective job of explaining exactly why they turned on Copeland and the logic didn't feel forced at all. As soon as Schiavone condemned their actions on Wednesday's Dynamite, you knew a beatdown was coming his way.

United States Champion LA Knight Saved Randy Orton from Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga This segment started strong with Nick Aldis calling out Orton for hitting him with an RKO last week and Orton teasing the possibility of Aldis stepping back in the ring to face him at WrestleMania 41. Sadly, a match with Sikoa was also teased and that doesn't intrigue me in the slightest.

Ryan Matthews, Jordan Kross and Drake Daniels MxM Collection are still in possession of one of the ROH World Tag Team Championship belts, but I like that their focus has shifted to the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship instead. We've already seen MxM Collection unsuccessfully challenge The Sons of Texas, but it makes sense for them and Johnny to get an opportunity at the six-man tag titles soon, possibly at Supercard of Honor.

Santino Marella Interrupted Ethan Page and Frankie Kazarian It was cool to see Page start the show after ending last week's episode. He briefly talked about his history in the promotion and how he's beaten Joe Hendry before before Kazarian interrupted to do his usual shtick as well. They had a fine verbal exchange, but it only existed so Marella could come out to hype Hendry's announcement regarding the Rebellion match at the end of the night. Ace Austin def.
