World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso and Sami Zayn Saved from CM Punk from Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker This was Punk's first promo since WrestleMania 41 and I appreciated that he acknowledged how he was betrayed by Paul Heyman once before. He and Rollins had a solid exchange on the mic, but it wasn't much different than what we've heard from them before. The subsequent brawl was was well done and set up Punk and Zayn vs. Rollins and Breakker for Saturday Night's Main Event. Penta def.

Ethan Page Confronted No Quarter Catch Crew Myles Borne cut an inspiring promo not only about becoming the number one contender to the NXT Championship last week but also his disability and how he doesn't want it to define him. I'm sure he acknowledged it before during a backstage interview on Level Up, but this was probably the first time it's been acknowledged on NXT TV. Page played his role well to set up their match for Borne's number one contender's spot later in the night.

MLW World Tag Team Champions Los Depredadores def. Dark Panther and Blue Panther Jr. Magnus and Rugido (Los Depredadores) won the MLW World Tag Team Champion from COZYMAX at a CMLL vs. MLW event in Mexico last week, which they aired footage of before this bout. COZYMAX were treating those titles like paperweights, so I have no issue with giving the belts to two CMLL guys. Plus, this was better than any other tag title match I've seen in MLW in a long time.

United States Champion Jacob Fatu def. LA Knight, Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest in a Fatal 4-Way Match Although the Fatal 4-Way we got for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 41 was better, this was still fun for what it was. It had a nice pace and the crowd was into the action from start to finish. The stuff with McIntyre and Priest was well done and obviously indicates their feud isn't finished yet.

Atlantis Jr. def. Jay Lethal With this episode emanating from Lethal's home state of New Jersey, I automatically assumed Lethal would win here. Apparently not. Atlantis is a bright star from CMLL's roster (from what I can gather as someone who isn't familiar with their product beyond what I see on AEW/ROH TV), so the commentary team treated his victory over Lethal as a big deal (though I do question what beating Lethal even means these days). It was a well-wrestled opener to boot. Marina Shafir def.
