Operated by the Sinclair Broadcast Group, WWHB-CA is related to CBS affiliate WPEC, CW affiliate WTVX, and Class A MyNetworkTV affiliate WTCN-CA. The station transmits on UHF channel 48 as a class-A television station, which is a type of low-power broadcasting. Notably, WWHB-CA was Sinclair's first station to broadcast in Spanish, following its acquisition of KEYE-DT2 in Austin, Texas, which airs Telemundo, prior to the company's expansion into more stations in 2012.
