A new McLaughlin poll is the latest survey to suggest that the post-Donald Trump era won’t see another Florida man as the GOP standard-bearer. Florida’s Governor, a former Senator and a current Senator add up to less than 10% support between them. Gov. Ron DeSantis is the best performer of the bunch, with 6% backing in the late April survey. That puts him down 2 points month over month. DeSantis performs best with Black voters.
