Following Providence's first 70 degree day of the year, wet weather looks to return to the region later today. Showers will eventually overcome the drier air in place this morning, increasing in coverage this afternoon. Periods of rain continue through this evening, tapering to showers for tomorrow morning/midday. Be sure to pack an umbrella or rain gear if heading out tonight.

Another quiet day with increasing clouds and highs either side of 50. Rain/snow showers overnight into tomorrow AM, but still fairly dry during tomorrow’s daytime. Widespread rain early Saturday into Sunday brings up to 2” of rainfall by the end of the weekend. @NBC10 https://t.co/RcXlDlFQnH

LATE WEEK: Aside from some raindrops Friday morning, expect dry conditions to close out the workweek as highs remain a bit below average. Rain chances will be on the rise heading into the weekend as a coastal low nears. @nbc10 https://t.co/NPPFCvCr4S
