    Texas Pie Fest is back and sweeter than ever for its seventh year at Tate Farms, one of Rockwall's last working farms. The event will feature pie vendors and bakers from across Texas. Tate Farms was established in 1962 by G.L. Tate Sr. The family has raised and sold grass-fed and grass-finished Hereford beef to the public, along with other Tate Farms products, for over 50 years. Melissa Tate founded the Texas Pie Fest in 2018, and the farm has been sweeter ever since.
