South winds will be with us Saturday night into Sunday before a brief pattern change. Look for breezy conditions Saturday night with lows only down to the middle 70s. More 90s are in store Sunday with dry weather and more wind. A brief piece of energy arrives Monday afternoon. With humid conditions and warm air, thunderstorms will form out west. Some of these may try to approach the far western OKC metro before dissipating Monday night.

The highest heat index values of the year are on the way!Look for a bit of patchy fog into early Monday morning due to the soaked soils and clear skies. Fog will clear quickly after sunrise. Temps will soar well into the 90s Monday and Tuesday. With the heat and humidity combination, heat index values will be in the upper 90s to low 100s. Drink plenty of water and take frequent breaks.
