After a warm to hot Thursday, a cold front will bring storms to the state Friday. The storms will form near and even behind the front as strong northerly winds move in along with cool air. Some of the storms may be severe with large hail as the main threat Friday early evening into the overnight. As the front continues south, temps will be quite cool with rain and thunder Saturday. The rain will end Easter morning with clearing skies in the afternoon. -Meteorologist Aaron Brackett

On April 9, 1947, a powerful F5 tornado ripped through Woodward. The storm leveled 200 city blocks and killed more than 100 people in the city. It is the deadliest storm in Oklahoma history! @kfor #OKWX https://t.co/dhjaMcdZgB

Caden and Austin found not one, but 11 four leaf clovers in the clover patch in the back yard tonight. The internet says 1 in 10,000 is four leaf. Someone please explain! P.S. yes, we pressed them in one of my older meteorology books :) #okwx @kfor https://t.co/orZMGynNp6
