If you have brats in your fridge or freezer, check the label. The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) has recalled more than 22,000 pounds of Johnsonville bratwurst due to contamination with hard plastic. The recall was initiated on April 5, 2025, and affects Johnsonville Brats Cheddar Bratwurst. The product was sold in 19-ounce sealed firm tray packages containing five brats with package code B9FOD. The cheddar bratwurst was produced on February 5, 2025.
