Hey Y'all! I'm Abby, and I'm thrilled to be part of 100.7 XL Country! Originally from Georgia, I've spent the last few years chasing adventure in the West. I've called Idaho and Wyoming home in the past, and now I'm loving life here in beautiful Montana with my wonderful husband and our two cute doggos. My hobbies are a mix of outdoor fun and quirky passions. You'll find me fly fishing on a quiet river, competing in rifle matches, or metal detecting for lost treasures. I'm also into overlanding camping, and when I'm not outdoors, I can't wait to share my love for country music with you! Source

What’s the Best Movie Set in Montana? Whew… that’s a tough one to pin down. With Montana’s jaw-dropping landscapes, massive river systems, and wide-open skies—it’s basically made for the big screen. It’s no surprise that some of the most iconic films of all time have either been shot here or at least claim to be set in Montana. A few that come to mind right away: A River Runs Through It, parts of Forrest Gump, and Far and Away. Want to see more?

Have you been outside lately? It’s finally warming up, right?! It feels like we’re starting to shake off winter’s grip, though last week, Bozeman Pass got over a foot of snow. Just as fast as it showed up, it disappeared like it never happened. So yeah, we’re officially in runoff season here in Montana. The warm temps are melting off the snow fast, even at the higher elevations in some spots. Rivers are rising quickly, flowing hard, and we’ve still got a ways to go before things even out.

America's packed with small towns, but which ones really stand out? There's just something magnetic about that small-town charm—it pulls you in. Maybe it's the mom-and-pop shops where folks know your name, or maybe it's that slower pace of life we all secretly crave in today's chaos. Whatever the reason, one thing's clear: small towns have a way of stealing hearts and sticking with you long after you leave. Where Are the Best Small Towns in America?
