In the not-too-distant future, machines will become smarter than humans. When that happens, will we still be in control? The term "singularity" refers to a hypothetical future where AI can independently create and improve machines without human assistance, surpassing human intelligence. The singularity is marked by the challenge of predicting the consequences and impacts of such superintelligence, as it could lead to outcomes beyond human comprehension.
