Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), Nyesom Wike, Wednesday, told former militant leader, Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, that the suspended Rivers state governor, Siminalayi Fubara has not approached him for forgiveness. Speaking through his media aide, Lere Olayinka in a statement Wednesday, Wike made it clear that forgiveness requires an acknowledgment of wrongdoing and a direct plea for pardon, neither of which Fubara has made.

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), Nyesom Wike, Monday said the administration has so far surpassed a 95 percent performance of the 2024 budget. He stated this after inspecting some ongoing projects in the FCT. He said: “In terms of implementation of the 2024 budget, I can tell you we have done not less than 90 – 95 percent of the budget. But that is history. That has never happened before,” he stated.
