An almost full week is in store for Pirate basketball fans this week and it comes with minimal travel. The only off day is Wednesday and now Friday. Continental High Girls Varsity start off the week by playing 3 games in 4 nights. The Ladies tip off this weeks action by hosting Northwood on Monday. They are back in action the next night as they travel to Ayersville on Tuesday. The Ladies finish off their week on Thursday with a trip to Ottoville.

The Continental Pirates Boys Basketball team will be low on Seniors but there are 6 Juniors who will provide support this season. Eljah Miler is the only Senior on the Pirate squad but that does not mean the Pirates will lack the experience to improve on last years 3-20 season. Junior Monty Rayle and Brady Thomsen provide two years experience each in being in the Pirate rotation. Rayle put in 138 points last year while Brady Thomsen put in 77.
