While Auburn basketball was fighting South Carolina to retain its undefeated status in SEC play, Auburn football got some good news on the recruiting trail as Devin Carter committed to the Tigers. Carter, who announced his commitment during the Navy All-American game in San Antonio, is a wide receiver in the 2026 class. The Douglas County (Georgia) High School product is a consensus four-star, with ESPN, On3 and Rivals all considering him a top-100 player nationally.
