The DC Universe may have officially began in December with the animated series Creature Commandos, but a lot of people’s entry point into this new franchise will be through James Gunn’s Superman. Not only is the Guardians of the Galaxy filmmaker putting his own stamp on DC Comics’ Man of Steel like so many before him, this upcoming DC movie will also feature various other superheroes working alongside David Corenswet’s Clark Kent.

LL Cool J is one of the longest-tenured actors in the NCIS franchise (which can be streamed with a Paramount+ subscription), having starred as Sam Hanna in all 14 seasons of NCIS: Los Angeles, then making a handful of appearances in NCIS: Hawai’i’s latter two seasons. It’s been a year since CBS cancelled Hawai’i, but we’re not done with Hanna yet, as we’re just days away from his return on the 2025 TV schedule.

Chadwick Boseman debuted as T’Challa in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War, and less than two years after its release, he reprised the character for his own solo movie. Ryan Coogler directed and co-wrote Black Panther, and the plan had been for Boseman to lead a sequel taking place after T’Challa’s appearances in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.

After Thunderbolts* is released onto the 2025 movies schedule in two weeks, MCU fans can look forward to The Fantastic Four: First Steps as this year’s third and final upcoming Marvel movie. The first trailer for the new Fantastic Four movie dropped in February, and now there’s a new First Steps trailer to take in, which repackages the footage shown at CinemaCon earlier this month.
